Who is Butter Boy?

Introducing THE Butter Boy, our son Johnnie, the namesake and inspiration behind Butter Boy.

Michael and Rachel McCoy are passionate about many things, but the two that take priority are: Giving a safe and loving home to children impacted by foster care, and damn-good food. 

When Johnnie joined their family, they quickly discovered his first favorite food which was anything covered in butter. Thus, the name Butter Boy was born. Johnnie officially became a McCoy in August 2023, followed by his sister Sami in December.

Butter Boy's goal is to bring people together over delicious, live-fire cooked food.
